AmeriVet's Liberty Pet Hospital in Powell, OH is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative veterinary team. The role emphasizes client education, patient care, and efficient multitasking while supporting veterinarians and fellow technicians.

The ideal candidate holds a current RVT license and has hands-on animal care experience, including anesthesia assistance, blood draws, imaging, and lab work. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVN) with current license.
• 1+ years of veterinary hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment used in clinics.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
• Ability to educate clients effectively about care and treatments.
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and a positive team player.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries.
• Assist in surgery and post-operative recovery.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood; run routine bloodwork.
• Operate laboratory equipment and equipment for imaging (X-ray).
• Ensure proper patient positioning and handling.
• Educate clients on procedures, care, and preventive health.

Liberty Pet Hospita l is currently looking for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Technician. We are seeking a candidate that is customer-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, and can multitask. The ideal candidate will feel confident working with the veterinarians and other technicians, rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgery recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, using laboratory equipment, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is willing to be a positive team player. Liberty Pet Hospital is an animal hospital that understands the veterinary industry is constantly advancing, and we encourage our staff to do the same.
