Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital of Preston P.A. in Cary, NC is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our small‑animal, on‑site team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and collaborate with doctors and technicians to tailor care for each patient.

Strong communication with clients is essential. We value a calm, efficient approach in a fast‑paced environment and seek candidates with AVMA‑accredited training and an active state license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
• Monitor anesthesia and perform lab work as part of the medical team.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and respond to questions.
