Job summary

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking a registered veterinary technician to join the ICU team in Denver, CO. This full-time role offers a pay range of $24.00–$28.00 per hour and a 3x12 shift schedule.

Responsibilities include technical duties, client communication, and patient care within the ICU. We welcome credentialed technicians or new grads and provide ongoing education and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • CVT, RVT or LVT preferred; new grads welcome.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in ICU.
  • Ability to work full-time rotating 3x12 shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical duties and patient care per DVM orders.
  • Monitor anesthesia and provide patient assessments.
  • Support doctors, communicate with clients, document thoroughly.

Responsibilities:
  • All tasks related to providing patient care based on DVM orders.
  • Think analytically through disease process and patient needs.

  • Ensure documentation is appropriate, thorough, and complete.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced, credentialed technicians are preferred, but we are happy to train new grads
