Gentle Care Pet Clinic in Long Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of RVT experience and is proficient in surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry, with a strong interest in these areas.

The role involves assisting veterinarians, handling and restraining animals, administering medications and vaccines, collecting lab samples, and educating clients while maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a veterinary technician; RVT required or eligible for licensure.
• Strong animal handling and clinical procedure knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Located in Long Beach, Gentle Care Pet Clinic has proudly served pets and their families since 1997. The small-animal practice provides personalized, compassionate care for dogs and cats, offering comprehensive services including wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, and pharmacy support. The team is committed to creating a welcoming, thoughtful environment where pets receive individualized care and clients feel supported every step of the way.

We're looking for a Full-Time Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience as an RVT and be proficient and confident in surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry. This role would be great for someone who has a strong interest in these areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years e xperience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures .
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
• Veterinary Technician Certification required - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
