High Desert Animal Care Hospital in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced, team-oriented practice. The ideal candidate will have an active RVT license and 2+ years of professional experience, with strong skills in anesthesia administration, surgical monitoring, and high-quality client communication.

You will perform lab work, radiography, dentistry support, patient nursing care, and assist in exams and procedures, while upholding hospital

Qualifications

• RVT with active license and 2+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring.
• Punctuality and reliability; weekend availability.
• Excellent client communication and medical record management.
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations.
• Expertise in safe, low-stress animal restraint techniques.
• Proficiency in blood, urine, fecal, and skin sample collection.
• Radiographic positioning and image capture; dental radiography a plus.
• Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing learning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hazards.

Responsibilities
