Orchard Veterinary Medical Center, LLC in Westminster, CO is seeking an Urgent Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician. You will triage, monitor, and stabilize patients under a veterinarian's supervision, while communicating clearly with clients and supporting a fast-paced team.

Ideal candidates have AVMA-accredited technician training and a current license, with 1 year of veterinary experience preferred, especially in urgent care or emergencies.

Your Impact as an Urgent Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Note: The Credentailed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.

• Lead and Elevate Your Team: In a fast-paced setting, you’ll guide and support your colleagues, ensuring a smooth workflow and fostering a focused, collaborative atmosphere.
• Ensure Seamless Care: Your clear and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment will be crucial for patient handoffs, case management, and effective team communication.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• A calm, efficient, and decisive approach, especially during medical emergencies.
• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Proficiency in a range of technical skills, with a strong aptitude for emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Confidence in handling animals of all temperaments and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively under pressure.
• One year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus!
