Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our St. Charles team. You will perform technician appointments under a supervising veterinarian and provide top-quality preventive care for pets.

Qualifications

• Must hold Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with preventive pet care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and general veterinary care for pets (birds, etc.).
• Perform veterinary technician appointments under supervising veterinarian.
• Build strong relationships with pets and their humans.

The pay range for this role is $22.01 - $31.80 per hour. The pay range listed reflects a general hiring range for the area, with the specific rate determined based on the candidate’s experience, skill level, abilities, education, and may vary depending on location or minimum wage laws.*Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance may be available for a limited time only, depending on location.

• Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments. All appointments must be under the direction and supervision of veterinarian and in compliance with state law.
