30th Street Animal Hospital in Indianapolis is hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT) to deliver skilled care for our animal patients and top-tier client service. The ideal candidate will have animal-care experience, strong client communication, and solid veterinary procedures knowledge.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification is required.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Job description

Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position. Team members work four days per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts falling between 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM (start times may vary). Rotating Saturdays required, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
