Job summary

VCA Tiara Rado Animal Hospital in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, with an application deadline of 10/30/26.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA-accredited program, pass VTNE, and be licensed/registered/certified in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program (e.g., AVMA-accredited).
• Must pass the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam).
• Must be licensed/registered/certified in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for companion animals.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures and diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compassionate care for hospitalized patients.

Education & Credentials

• Associate degree(usually 2 years) in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program(e.g., AVMA-accredited).
• Must pass the VTNE(Veterinary Technician National Exam).
• Must be licensed/registered/certifiedin the state of Colorado
