Arrowhead Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit team. You will provide patient care in a supportive community-focused clinic while having access to resources and career opportunities through Thrive’s nationwide network.
What You'll Do
- Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Placing IV catheters and performing blood draws and injections (IV, IM, SQ)
- Monitoring anesthesia and utilizing advanced monitoring equipment
- Assisting with surgeries and procedures in accordance with Colorado regulations
- Collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate patient histories and medical records
- Communicating with clients about individualized pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans
- Using safe restraint techniques and maintaining clean, sterile treatment areas
- Supporting efficient patient flow and smooth hospital operations
- Collaborating with and supporting fellow team members
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience with direct patient care
- Active RVT/LVT/CVT credential (current and in good standing)
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, bloodwork, and injections
- Experience monitoring anesthesia and working with monitoring equipment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
