VCA Firehouse Animal Hospital in Denver is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician. This full-time role offers a $28.00–$33.00 per hour salary based on experience, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates, and a 7–4 or 10–7 schedule. Location is 1038 E 6th Ave Unit B, Denver, CO 80218.

Qualifications

• Valid veterinary technician license or credential (CVT/RVT/LVT) required.
• Colorado licensure or eligibility required to practice veterinary technician.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Prepare and assist in surgical procedures.
• Provide dentistry, radiology and laboratory services.
• Conduct venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Pharmacy management and medication administration.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized animals.

Location: 1038 E 6th Ave Unit B, Denver, CO 80218 Application Deadline: 11/30/2026 Full-Time, 7-4pm & 10-7pm Pay: $28.00 - 33.00 per hour, based on experience *$1,000 Sign-on bonus available* This bonus would apply only to external candidates who have not previously worked for Mars Petcare, including Mars Veterinary Health, VCA, Banfield, BluePearl, etc. A one-year employment agreement/commitment is required to receive this bonus.
