Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician for our Boulder, CO practice. You will deliver high-quality patient care, assist in surgeries, monitor anesthesia, and perform diagnostics in a busy AAHA-accredited hospital.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • Calm and efficient under pressure in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
  • Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Partner with clients, educating them on treatments and reviewing medical records.
  • Contribute to a positive culture and uphold hospital standards.

We are innovative, technologically advanced, and supportive! We are searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician or someone pursuing RVT status, full time or part time, for our state-of-the art, 5 Doctor, AAHA accredited veterinary practice.

The Arapahoe Animal Hospital team has offered the most advanced diagnostics and care available for small animals and exotics since 1954 – and we have two Boulder locations. Our Main Hospital in east Boulder is located on a full acre of land and offers premier Pet Boarding and Doggie Day Care (Doggie Day Care available 100% free for our staff pups!) Our Downtown Hospital is located in the Pearl Street Mall area of Boulder.

Your Impact as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Note: The Credentialed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.

  • Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
