Saint Francis Animal Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician with a focus on high-quality patient care. You will assist with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and post-operative care in a fast-paced small animal practice.

Saint Francis Animal Hospitalis a well-established, progressive, fast-paced 5-doctor small animal practice located in Augusta, GA. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients, and many clients even refer to our clinic as being a 'Primary Plus' hospital that can meet many of the wellness and emergency needs for our patients in the community.
Our services include: Preventative Services, Wellness Plans, Holistic Medicine (including acupuncture, herbal therapy, and physical therapy), Emergency & Critical Care during normal business hours, General & Emergency Surgery, Digital X-Ray, Dedicated Dental Suite, Ultrasound, Full In-House Laboratory, In-House Pharmacy and Therapeutic Laser.
St. Francis Animal Hospital is open Monday through Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturdays 10am-4pm. We do not have on-call shifts or overnight hours for our team. Our technicians are paired with a dedicated doctor and function as a member of the treatment team at large.

Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

$20+/hr. depending on level of experience.
