Job description

Welcome to Charlotte Street Animal Hospital, where our mission since 1998 has been to provide high quality veterinary service in a professional and compassionate environment. We are proud to be an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, reflecting our dedication to exceeding the highest standards in patient care, surgery, and diagnostics—a designation held by only 15% of hospitals nationwide. This commitment to excellence is reflected by the trust of our clients, who have given us an excellent 4.8-star Google rating. If you are seeking an opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on comprehensive, quality care, we invite you to do your best work here in Asheville, NC. Joining our hospital means integrating yourself into a structure specifically designed for success. As an AAHA accredited facility, our operating standards for everything from patient care to client service are rigorous and defined, ensuring a clear, high-quality workflow for all teammates. Since 1998, we have prioritized creating a caring environment where you treat pets like your own, supported by compassionate teammates. We know that when protocols are clear and care is comprehensive, you are empowered to grow and focus fully on providing exceptional medicine. You will practice comprehensive small animal medicine encompassing dogs, cats, and exotics, with services ranging from routine wellness and prevention to complex advanced care. Our facility is equipped to handle extensive Testing & Diagnostics, Advanced Care, and a robust schedule of Surgical Procedures. Crucially, we offer Urgent Care services on-site and support the community with Emergency Care options, requiring us to maintain advanced diagnostic imaging and anesthesiology standards. This setting provides an ideal opportunity for you to expand your clinical skills across multiple species and critical care scenarios. Located centrally in Asheville, NC, our hospital serves a dedicated client base that relies on our extended operating hours, which include shifts from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and hours until 1:00 PM on Saturday. This schedule reflects a strong community need for accessible, high-quality care. When you join Charlotte Street Animal Hospital, you are becoming a critical part of the Asheville pet healthcare landscape, providing continuous support and comprehensive care to a population that truly values quality veterinary services.
