Job description

Southwest Dermatology & Vein is looking to add a registered vascular technologist to our team! We are a dermatology and vein practice focused on superficial venous problems including venous insufficiency, stasis dermatitis and venous ulceration.

While experience is a plus, new graduates and those with limited venous experience are welcome to apply. Certification as an RVT and/or RVS is required for this position, but all necessary scanning skills can be taught on the job.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound scanning for venous insufficiency and DVTs
• Pre-operative marking and injection guidance for endovenous chemical ablations
• Assist with laser ablations
• Help room and perform initial screening questions of patients presenting for vein evaluation
• Assist medical assistants, prep for vein clinic, and charting during slower days

Qualifications

• Registered vascular technologist (RVT or RVS)
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to function independently
• Strong work ethic and teamwork skills

Schedule & Availability

• Full time positions: Guaranteed 32 hours weekly, up to 40 hours per week
• Part time and PRN positions available
• No call, nights, or weekends expected
• Schedules: South Austin location Weds‑Fri 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; Dripping Springs location Mon‑Tues 7:45 – 5:00 PM
