Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound examinations focused on the lower extremities, traveling between multiple Bronx clinics. The role is full-time with shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and weekend availability is required.

Compensation ranges from $40 to $47 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will perform venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex studies, and may conduct additional imaging such as

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach, required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

Location: Float position requiring travel between multiple clinics in the Bronx area. (Specific locations will be discussed during the interview process.)

Schedule: Full-time. Shifts may vary between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and weekend availability is required.

Compensation: $40–$47 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies includingvenous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such ascarotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program,required.
• CurrentRVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer)credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days isrequired.
• Demonstrated experience performingvenous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images,required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment,required.
