Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform specialized ultrasound studies and non-imaging testing within the Surgical Vascular Lab.

The role involves operating multiple ultrasound devices, documenting findings, and assisting physicians and students across hospital units.

Qualifications

• Specialized ultrasound procedures performed according to departmental protocols.
• May involve non-imaging/physiological testing as required by the lab.
• Licensure/Certification: RVT or RVS with ARDMS/CCI as specified.

Responsibilities

(External Hires) A talent acquisition caregiver will provide more details about the sign on bonus during the interview process.Major Responsibilities:Performs specialized or general procedures according to established departmental protocols.Performs ultrasound procedures and non-imaging studies for vascular, and other specific areas as required.Operates all types of Ultrasound equipment. Performs portable exams in various areas throughout the hospital to include the Operating Room and Intensive Care Units. Records images and makes hard copies where applicable.Uses IDXrad to schedule and complete exams as applicable.
