Job summary

ESCAMBIA COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY is hiring a Fulltime Registered Technologist specialized in Mammography. The position requires candidates to be graduates of an approved ARRT program and have BLS certification.

The role involves obtaining images for diagnostic procedures, preparing the room, and ensuring all supplies are ready. Candidates should have experience performing QC testing and be familiar with stereotactic procedures. A shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm is expected, with overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program and ARRT in good standing, or eligible. BLS certified.
• Advanced registry or minimum one-year experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process images required for routine and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare the room and maintain all supplies, equipment and documents required for procedures.
• Perform QC testing of the machine.
• Utilize ALARA techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
• Provide/communicate relative patient information to the Radiologist.
• Maintain continuing education as required for respective ARRT registries.

Skills

Graduate of approved ARRT program
