Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a cardiac ultrasound technologist to work on-site with a cardiologist, performing procedures and upholding department standards. The role covers patients from infants to geriatrics and supports full-time day shift operations.

A $20,000 sign-on bonus applies for rotating call and related duties. AR DMS/RCS registration or active pursuit required; CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or RCS registration is required or actively pursuing registration
• 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred in a ARDMS compliant department
• CPR certification is required
• Valid driver’s license is required to drive to outreach sites and screening events

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures with cardiologist at the technical level
• Maintain standard of care across patient ages from infants to geriatrics
• Contribute to efficient operation of the department and patient care continuity

Job Description Summary

Works closely with the cardiologist to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures at the technical level, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Maintains the standard of care delivered to infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Pay Transparency

$31.51 - $48.83. Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.

Education

Must be ARDMS or RCS registered or be actively pursuing registration.

Experience and Other Requirements

• One year of clinical experience in a progressive Ultrasound Department or Ultrasound Training Program that meets with the ARDMS requirements for registry eligibility is required.
• Prefer previous experience as a Registered ARRT Technologist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in order to drive to outreach sites and screening events.
• Must be CPR certified.
