Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA seeks skilled sonographers for Echo, cardiac, vascular, fetal medicine, and ultrasound imaging. Relocation and sign-on incentives are available for select positions. Expect a variable day schedule with rotating call and holidays.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, providing patient care, and working independently. Opportunities exist to cross-train in fetal echocardiography and earn additional compensation for registries.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent with completion of an approved ultrasound program.
• Licensure/registration: ARRT/ARDMS in OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography; CPR/BLS required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS/CCI) in adult echo preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and provide patient care across ages.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging across echo, cardiac, vascular and abdominal studies.
• Provides care to patients of all ages and works independently as needed.
• Cross-trains toward fetal echocardiography and participates in rotating call/holidays.
