The Registered Sleep Technologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Traverse City, MI. This role is responsible for performing overnight and occasionally daytime sleep studies, including patient preparation, electrode and sensor application, equipment calibration, and continuous monitoring of sleep stages and related physiological parameters. The technologist will observe and document patient events, respond to patient needs, and implement appropriate interventions such as CPAP/BiPAP titration according to established protocols. Daily responsibilities include scoring sleep studies, preparing accurate reports for physician review, maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment, and adhering to safety, infection control, and privacy standards. The technologist will also provide patient education on sleep disorders and therapies, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the clinical team to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
