Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive Respiratory Care Therapy in Neptune Township, New Jersey. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide and administer Respiratory Care Therapy.
• Work under supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services.
• Maintain required certifications while performing duties.

Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care

Ability to maintain PALS, ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications

Education

The Registered Respiratory Therapist under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

The Resuscitation RT will be required to maintain PALS, ACLS, NRP in addition to BLS. This part-time position will be required to work 1 day shift (7a-7p), and 1 night shift (7p-7a) per week.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
