Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley, Idaho is seeking a part-time PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver advanced respiratory care under physician orders. The role supports a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to participate in special projects and flexible scheduling.

The ideal candidate will be an NBRC-registered RRT with Idaho licensure eligibility, BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, and the ability to work independently in a busy hospital setting

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Idaho.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies.
• Manage oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in code situations.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans.

Job Description:The Respiratory Therapist RRT provides advanced-level respiratory care to patients designed to diagnose, evaluate, treat, manage, and control deficiencies or abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system within the prescription of the ordering physician.
