Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide cardiopulmonary care under general supervision. Responsibilities include respiratory treatments, airway and ventilator management, and blood gas analysis in a NICU setting, while contributing to quality improvement and supporting staff.

Requirements include an associate degree or 2 years of college, at least 1 year of related NICU experience, and certifications (NRP, ACLS, PALS, CPR).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of college coursework.
• One year of related experience.
• Must attend S.T.A.B.L.E. baby course within 18 months of employment.
• Must become certified in NRP, PALS and ACLS within 10 months of employment.
• Has at least 1 year Level III NICU experience either with Tanner or at another Level III NICU facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments, including airway management and ventilator management.
• Perform blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Provide high level customer service and act as a resource to other employees.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
