Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the W.E.S.T. float pool on the night shift.

This role provides critical respiratory care across units based on staffing needs, delivering patient care and education while collaborating with RC managers and multi-disciplinary teams. You will administer therapies, manage ventilators, and assist in invasive procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Sciences; required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Additional certifications (e.g., NRP, PALS) preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of current RT experience required in a hospital environment

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, primarily in critical care settings.
• Educate patients and families while mentoring staff and students.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement care strategies.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at WellStar, you'll provide critical respiratory care and education under the guidance of the RC Manager/Director. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive patient care in complex situations, primarily in critical care settings.

Requirements

Education:
