Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time, rotating shifts (two 12‑hour and two 8‑hour shifts, or four 10‑hour shifts) in a clinical setting.

The candidate must have an Associate's Degree in respiratory care from a CoARC-accredited program, be an RRT with NBRC, and hold NY licensure; Bachelor's degree is preferred. BLS/ACLS/NRP/CPR certification is required within orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoARC accredited program in respiratory care with an Associate's Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC required and licensed by the State of New York.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education as mandated by the State of New York.
• Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.

Responsabilités

• Assumes primary clinical responsibility for all respiratory care modalities in his/her clinical area.
• Supervises students enrolled in respiratory care programs as applicable.
• Exercises independent clinical judgement under physician supervision when required.
• Maintains knowledge and skills related to practice areas through ongoing education.
