Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional to provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy in a hospital setting in Noble, OK. You will collaborate with physicians to assess therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for nursing staff on respiratory care.

The role requires graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP licensure, and NBRC RRT credential. PALS is required for ER staff, ACLS preferred, with physical duties as described.

Formación

• Must graduate from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Hold current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS certification required for ER staff.
• ACLS preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Physical demands include push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs and kneeling/crouching/crawling as needed.

Job Profile Summary

Position Details

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.


• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.


• Experience: None.


• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.


• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.


• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
