Job summary

Cox Medical Center Branson is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide professional respiratory care throughout the patient care stay. You will assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapies, including ventilation support and oxygen titration, with NBRC RRT credential and Missouri license required.

Responsibilities include safe patient care, accurate documentation, and ongoing education for patients, students, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• RRT credential from NBRC is required; Missouri State License for Respiratory is required.
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory interventions across all phases of patient care.
• Assess and determine respiratory plan of care based on assessment, diagnosis, and history.
• Deliver medicated and non-medicated therapies, invasive and noninvasive ventilation, and oxygen titration.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and related diagnostic testing.
• Provide education to patients, students and staff; document accurately in electronic records.
