Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Care.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Instructs, administers, and monitors respiratory care services as per protocols.
• Interprets and reports patient responses and safety concerns to the care team.
• Performs arterial punctures, arterial line draws, and blood gas analysis according to policy.
• Maintains equipment and accurate documentation in the patient medical record.
