Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality pediatric respiratory care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

The role requires a Georgia-licensed Respiratory Care Professional with NBRC-RRT credentials, BLS, and PALS within the specified timelines, plus at least one year of experience in pediatric settings.

Qualifications

Job Description

Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care services.

To proactively support the efforts that will ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Certification Summary
  • Current license in the state of Georgia as a Respiratory Care Professional Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - *(One time grandfathering of CRT's working 1/1/07)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of employment

  • Maintains minimum of 15 continuing education units (CEUs)/education hours per year.
