Job summary

Medasource seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) to join a hospital respiratory team for full-time night coverage. Three 12-hour nights per week, with weekend rotation and on-call shifts, plus a $10,000 sign-on and relocation assistance up to $5,000.

Eligible candidates must have an accredited respiratory therapy program and RRT/RCP credentials, plus current BLS and state licensure. Clinical responsibilities include adult and geriatric care, ventilator management, oxygen and aerosolized

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• RRT credential or qualifying RCP credential/license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active or eligible state respiratory care license.
• CRT-only candidates are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, airway-management services, and other respiratory treatments
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures
• Monitor patient responses and recognize changes in clinical condition
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and treatment concerns
• Support critical-care ventilation, bronchoscopies, and other advanced respiratory procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Epic
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team

Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) – Full-Time Nights

Schedule: 3x12s, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or qualified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join an established hospital respiratory team. This permanent, full-time position primarily serves adult and geriatric patients.

New graduates and students within six months of completing an accredited Respiratory Therapy program are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekend coverage approximately every third weekend
• One on-call shift per six-week schedule
• Four of eight recognized holidays required
• Epic electronic medical record system
• One-step video or in-person interview

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Mechanical ventilation experience
• Epic experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

Sign-On Bonus

Qualified candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus:

• $5,000 after one year
• Two-year employment commitment required

Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be available depending on the candidate’s current location and relocation distance.
