Job summary

Harborview Health Systems seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver patient-centered respiratory care within our facility.

You will administer treatments, monitor responses, assist with airway management, educate patients and families, and collaborate with clinicians to develop comprehensive care plans. We offer top pay and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in airway management and use of respiratory equipment.
• Experience in acute care or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed by a physician
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans based on clinical assessments
• Perform tracheostomy care and other airway management procedures
• Conduct patient assessments and interpret vital signs accurately
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy, equipment use, and disease management strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans
• Respond effectively to respiratory emergencies in acute or long-term care settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy services provided
