Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages, under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager. The role emphasizes radiographic quality, ALARA principles, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include patient identification, post-processing, and maintaining safety protocols. The position requires ARRT Radiography certification and Basic Life Support, with duties expanding under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in various settings and ensures proper patient identification.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols and adheres to aseptic technique and hand washing policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
