United Medical Centers in Eagle Pass, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnoses. The role requires ARRT registration and state health registration, with preference for bilingual English/Spanish candidates.
Candidate should have at least one year of radiology experience, strong knowledge of radiology policies, and ability to work in compliance with regulatory standards while delivering patient-centered care.
Under the direction of the Laboratory/Radiology Director and Radiology Supervisor, the Radiological Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Ensures patient needs are addressed in accordance with instructions and directions of staff physicians. Responsible for ensuring that required statistical reports and documentation are accurately developed, tabulated and submitted in a timely basis. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including knowledge of the principals of growth and development of the life span. Identifies and categorizes each patient’s age-specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent and geriatric patients. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations, TJC, HRSA, DSHS standards and Compliance Standards.
