DRH Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnographer in Duncan, Oklahoma to conduct overnight sleep studies under supervision. The role requires sensor setup, data collection of EEG/EOG/EMG, and collaboration with medical staff to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Applicants should have AMA-approved sleep tech training and RPSGT BRPT certification, with strong patient communication skills and ability to adapt to varied ages and conditions. Safety protocols and DRH standards apply.
The Registered Polysomnographer is responsible for knowing basic anatomy, neural anatomy, cardiac rhythms, sleep stages, and the bio-electrical patterns of each EEG, EOG, EKG, and EMG signals. Polysomnographers evaluate overnight sleep studies under the supervision of the Lab Supervisor and Medical Director and ensures that procedures are performed in compliance with departmental policy procedures and hospital standards.
Ability to assess patient and patient needs. Basic computer skills with information technology associated with the position; Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Ability to travel to various locations within the DRH system.
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care, Polysomnography Technician, Sleep Technology, or Sleep Medicine.
Certification by a nationally-recognized board (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, RPSGT, or Board Registered Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist, BRPT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; May have up to 30 days to obtain upon hire or transfer. For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.

This position requires respirator and fit testing. Required testing will be performed on all team members at risk for exposure to airborne infectious diseases, droplet producing procedures, or any caustic chemicals.
