Job summary

Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will assist patients in receiving the restorative sleep they need and participate in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.

This is a full-time position with shifts from 7pm to 5:30am, four nights a week, requiring specific certifications such as RPSGT and BLS. You will play a key role in performing sleep studies and maintaining therapy equipment.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Less than 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrodes and sensors to patients and manage equipment.
• Perform sleep studies and maintain various therapy modes.
• Generate reports and transfer data to required media.

Job description

Memorial Hospital at Belleville is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) to join our dedicated and supportive team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping patients get the rest they deserve by contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Full-Time, 4 nights per week (rotating), 7pm-5:30am.

Required Certifications

• (RPSGT) certification required.
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Applies electrodes and sensors to patient, prepares, calibrates, and maintains equipment, performs positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fittings.
• Performs sleep studies, initiates and maintains various modes of therapy.
• Recognizes and manages various respiratory conditions.
• Scores sleep and wake stages, scores clinical events.
• Generates reports and transfers data to the appropriate media.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

• Less than 2 years.

Supervisor Experience

• No experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Cert/Reg in Area of Expertise.

Preferred Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Psychology/related.
