Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
• Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on assessment.
• Conducts therapy procedures within standards of care.
• Directs support staff to achieve patient goals.
• Communicates with other staff to ensure positive outcomes.
• Adheres to facility policies and safety standards.
• Documents evaluations, goals, and plans; maintains prescriptions and signatures.
• Keeps up to date with professional literature.
