Amazon Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support both the physical pharmacy and remote kiosk locations. You will drive to kiosk sites, refill kiosks, and assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions for shipment, while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

The role requires a Board of Pharmacy license (or eligible to obtain) and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with flexible hours. Competitive hourly pay applies across locations in Florida.

• 6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

• Active and unrestricted in-state driver\'s license.
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon\'s MVR checks.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.

• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.

This position offers a unique blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork! In this role, you will be responsible for both kiosk management and working within our pharmacy operations, including driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas. You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packets
• Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
• Aid the Process Leads, Area Managers, and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
• Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
• Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hours

Physical Requirements

Driving and transporting medications from Pharmacy locations to Kiosks for long periods of time (8+hrs)

During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):

Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching

Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight

Manual dexterity of hands and wrists

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Active and unrestricted Board of Pharmacy License or, if permitted by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, the ability to obtain one within the timeframe required
• 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Active and unrestricted in-state driver's license
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks (to be rechecked annually). Driving privileges will be revoked if your DMV reports indicates you have received a ticket for one or more of the following violations:

• - o Evading responsibility
• - o Being at fault in a fatal accident
• - o Having two or more motor vehicle accidents in the last three years
• - o Having a motor vehicle accident resulting in greater than $5,000 in damages
• - o Driving under the influence or in any way impaired by alcohol or drugs
• - o Reckless Driving
• - o Recurrent speeding violations
• - o Recurrent driving suspensions
• - o Three or more driving violations within the last three years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
• Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to recognize and identify patient medications
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
• Active and unrestricted in-state driver's license

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
