Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician – Floating to support pharmacy operations across various Harris Health facilities. This role is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
As a floating technician, this position provides coverage across multiple locations, offering variety and the opportunity to work alongside different pharmacy teams while maintaining consistent quality and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under pharmacist supervision
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and pharmacy protocols
- Maintain accuracy in medication labeling, packaging, and documentation
- Provide excellent patient service and support interdisciplinary care teams
- Adapt quickly to various pharmacy environments and team dynamics
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure & Certifications: Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- PTCB Certification preferred
- Competence in computer use, mathematics, and medical terminology
- Strong adaptability and flexibility to travel to different sites
