Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Occupational Therapist in Iowa.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Documentation of progress, discharge summaries, and home programs.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality of patient care, evaluation and treatment programs.
• Evaluate patients using Occupational Therapy techniques.
• Develop and implement care plans with clear goals.
• Educate patients and families to improve functional activities.
• Confer with physicians to coordinate treatment plans.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Utilize OT Aides appropriately to assist with care.
