Job summary

Life Care Center of Scottsdale seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy for patients referred by physicians. The role requires NBCOT certification upon hire, state licensure, and CPR readiness.

New grads are welcome, with one year of experience preferred. Responsibilities include evaluating patient goals, coordinating with OTAs and aides, and documenting progress.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living)
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs and Rehab Aides
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude
• Communicate on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move during shifts

Position Summary The OT - Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forwardGraduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to applyCPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
