Job summary

Otterbein Marblehead is seeking caring Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver direct resident care and collaborate with physicians, residents and the multi-disciplinary team. You will support residents and families, and contribute to person-centered care in a not-for-profit senior living community.

Shifts available: Full-Time Nights 6:00pm–6:30am and PRN, with pay starting from $35.00 per hour plus a $3.00 night shift differential and extra weekend pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license, CPR.
• At least 6 months of direct care nursing experience; long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents.
• Coordinate, supervise and evaluate resident care.
• Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
• Communicate with nursing and other departments and service providers.
• Exhibit positive professional image to residents, visitors, and facility staff.

Otterbein Marblehead is situated on 47 acres of land two blocks from the shores of Lake Erie, and just outside the gates of Lakeside Chautauqua - in the heart of Ohio's northern shores and islands vacation destinations. This senior care community features 57 independent living patio homes and apartments, 37 assisted living care units, and 20 “5-Star” nursing care suites (in two innovative “GreenHouse” homes).
