PREMIER HEALTHCARE CONSULTANTS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Manager to lead weekend care across units. This role requires RN licensure and involves supervising weekend staff, conducting resident rounds, and coordinating with providers, families, and pharmacies.

New grads are welcome to apply. Training is provided. The position offers health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401K, disability and life insurance, with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• RN license required, current and valid.
• Supervisory/managerial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend direct care across units and shifts.
• Conduct rounds, assess residents, and administer medications/treatments.
• Contact providers and families as needed.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and support staff.
• Assist in new staff orientation and onboarding.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing/Administrator on weekends.
• Handoff weekend events to Unit Managers on Monday.
• Monitor staffing levels, assign coverage, and fill in for callouts as needed.

Responsibilities of Registered Nurse (RN) Managers:

• Oversee the day-to-day direct care of residents on all units and shifts throughout the weekend.
• Conduct rounds of all units, assessing residents, and administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Contact providers and families.
• Communicate with pharmacies.
• Assist in new staff orientation.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing and/or Administrator on the weekend, as needed.
• Will receive a handoff from Unit Managers going into the weekend and report to Unit Managers regarding weekend events on Mondays.
• Monitor staffing, staffing assignments, answering staff callouts/arranging for staff coverage, and/or filling in for callouts, as needed on the weekend.

Qualifications for Registered Nurses (RN) Managers:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred, but not required.
