UVMMC is seeking a registered nurse for the Vascular Access Team. The role focuses on inserting peripheral IVs and PICCs for patients from pediatric to adult, using ultrasound and vascular visualization tools. You will consult on devices and complications, care for vascular access sites, and participate in education and quality improvements.
Requirements include RN licensure (Vermont-compact accepted), ADN degree, with BSN preferred, and a minimum of two years’ acute care experience.
Unit Description: The Vascular Access team at UVMMC is a highly skilled group of nursing professionals who provide a key clinical service to our patients and who are highly valued by the staff nurses whom they support and partner with. Prior IV skills are strongly preferred. A minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
On-call: Not required.
