Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, part of Methodist Health System, is seeking a registered nurse to deliver highly professional nursing care to assigned patients. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, while supporting the hospital's mission and values.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Texas RN license or eligibility, current BLS, and at least six months RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with team, patients and families; ensures understanding of information.

• Provides medication and IV administration safely and timely.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Uses nursing process to ensure quality patient care across care episodes.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Your Job Requirements:
