University of Michigan in Ann Arbor seeks a Registered Nurse—Level C for the 7B1 Acute Medical Telemetry Unit. The role involves delivering nursing care to medically complex patients with telemetry needs in a collaborative, patient- and family-centered environment.

This part-time, onsite position offers a night schedule (36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend) with float coverage to other units as needed and access to extensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NCLEX passed and licensed as RN in Michigan before start date.
• GN applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities*

7B1 is an Adult Medical Telemetry Unit. Nurses on this unit utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to the complex medicine patient who may require telemetry monitoring while hospitalized.We provide world class care for the patient and the patient's family using a team approach.

Required Qualifications*

Current Michigan RN license.
***GN applicants will be considered. The selected candidate must have successfully passed the NCLEX and be licensed as an RN in the State of Michigan before effective date of hire.

• BSN Preferred
• One (1) or more years of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
Salary and Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
