Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Lead for the Oak Park, IL area. This full-time role supports EMG nursing services, oversees clinical personnel, and ensures efficient, safe care aligned with hospital standards.

Ideal candidate will have at least two years of nursing experience, one year of scheduling, IL RN licensure, and BLS CPR certification. Some evenings or overtime may be required to meet office needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience required.
• One year of scheduling experience required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
• Current CPR BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
• Overtime may be required during disasters or hospital emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise as an EMG RN and acts as an operations resource for clinical staff.
• Maintains EMG RN expertise and provides high quality nursing care.
• Oversees specific EMG personnel to ensure safe, cost-efficient care.
• Operates as a role model, resolving issues and facilitating preceptorship.
• Collaborates with clinical supervisor to evaluate office personnel performance.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Manages ordering, procurement, and budgeting of supplies and equipment.
• Ensures proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with department staff to improve service delivery.
• Maintains physician-office teamwork and quality initiatives.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Lead
• Location: 932 W Lake St, Oak Park
• Full Time 40 hours
• Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm . May need to work evenings to accommodate the office needs.
• Required Travel: Occasionally

What you will do:

• Demonstrates expertise in functioning as an EMG RN and is able to serve as an operations resource to other clinical personnel in the performance of all expected duties in an efficient manner.
• Maintains expertise by regularly functioning as an EMG RN.
• Assists in overseeing and directing specific clinical EMG personnel in order to ensure effective, cost efficient and safe provision of nursing care in accordance with established standards.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and customer services skills to serve as role model and change agent for corporate and office based initiatives. Serves as or insures appropriate preceptor support for all clinical employees.
• In collaboration with clinical supervisor, evaluates performance of assigned office personnel.
• Monitors compliance with hospital and regulatory agency standards.
• Oversees the ordering, procuring, and budgeting of adequate supplies and equipment to provide
• appropriate patient care.
• Assures the proper functioning of and maintenance of equipment and physical plant.
• Develops and maintains a cooperative working relationship with a variety of department personnel in order process physician orders, order supplies, gather and exchange information, resolve operational problems and improve services.
• Maintain collaborative association with physicians to enhance office team work.
• Identifies, develops, and maintains quality initiative for the office

What you will need:

• A minimum of two years of nursing experience - Required
• A minimum of one year of experience with scheduling - Required
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license - Required
• Current CPR BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association
• In the event (1) any declared national, state or municipal disaster or other catastrophic event or (2) any implementation of the hospital's disaster plan that will substantially affect or increase the need for health care services any nurse may be required to work mandated overtime.
