Job summary

SENTARA NORTHERN VIRGINIA MEDICAL CENTER in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. This is a 14-week travel assignment with compensation at a rate of $80/hr recapturing the highly skilled RN workforce.

The RN must have an ADN/BSN/MSN, Virginia RN licensure, and current ACLS/BLS. At least two years of recent L&D experience and circulating in the OR are preferred. Join Sentara’s mission to improve health every day.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients and perform newborn/ maternal assessments
• Provide medications and interventions as per nursing plan
• Coordinate care with physicians and care team
• Educate patients and families and promote health
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and documentation of care
