Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift and hospital float coverage across Med/Surg and Stepdown with at least 2 years of bedside RN experience. The role supports multiple units, with a compensation model reflecting travel nursing norms.

The RN must hold Virginia licensure, current ACLS/BLS/NIHSS and be able to perform comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the health care team to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• AT LEAST 2 years of RECENT bedside RN experience in a hospital on med/surg, tele and IMCU.
• RN license issued in Virginia (or eligible) and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assess/adm it patients and admits as needed.
• Conduct rounds and monitor patient status.
• Administer medications and document care per policy.
• Communicate with families and coordinate with the care team.
• Provide patient teaching and discharge planning.
