Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Travel RN for a hospital in Reading, PA. This 12-hour shift opportunity features 21-30 beds with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio and a focus on telemetry monitoring.

The role involves caring for stroke and seizure patients, interpreting 12-lead ECGs, video EEG, and performing procedures such as trach care, blood product administration, and medication delivery (amiodarone, heparin, Lasix). ACLS/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• RN license, Compact Accepted.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care to assigned patients.
• Interpret 12-lead ECGs and monitor telemetry status.
• Administer medications including amiodarone, heparin and Lasix.
• Monitor neuro status, perform trach care and manage chest tubes as needed.
